Backup and Disaster Recovery

Data backup is not only recommended but also a key aspect in your IT security and safety which is why we have implemented secure, safe and efficient data backup built right into our monitoring agent.

  • Complete protection on any devices you need data protection.
  • Minimize human error and improve efficiency.
  • Optimised to reduce impact on service while keeping data secure.
  • Outsmart ransomware with direct-to-cloud backups.
  • Back up more frequently, and archive data longer.

Redundancy

Data redundancy is a condition created within a database or data storage technology in which the same piece of data is held in two separate places. This can mean two different fields within a single database, or two different spots in multiple software environments or platforms.

At PreciousIT we believe having a good redundancy plan for your network and data is key to ensuring all of our clients can keep working no matter what which is why our backup solution is a vital part of our Managed IT Services.

We recommend having 3 copies of all your data, this is the industry standard recommendation and while in theory this will cover all scenarios, we also understand this can be a costly exercise. Therefore, our backups are performed daily and are stored on a remote and secure location protecting your data from both cyber threats and physical threats such as fire, theft and flooding.

Simple Restoring

While backing up is a key, restoring data is also just as important, while many of use hope to never require the use of a data restore we have ensured our system is simple and easy to use to make the process of restoring fast and efficient.
